Ecommerce Manager

Role and Responsibilities
  • Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
  • Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers.
  • Developing and managing product portfolio, feature set, road-map, pricing based on target sectors and company requirements.
  • Driving a solution set across development teams (primarily Development/Engineering, and Marketing Communications) through market requirements, product contract, and positioning.
  • Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute.
  • Analyzing potential partner relationships for the product.
  • Gather requirements from around the business and provide detailed specifications of functionality and usability for product improvements.

  • Coordinating between customer, sales and technology to ensure delivery of customer solution / POC.
  • Managing online presence including: managing website / service delivery portal including content, look and feel etc.
  • Being responsible for online marketing including overall look / feel / flow of site during design phase and later, development and maintenance of all marketing content on site including site content, twitter feeds, XML feeds etc.

  • Experience in product development, strategic planning, and implementation preferred.
  • Knowledgeable in technology.
  • Prior online product management experience with a track record of producing detailed functional product specifications is a must.

ECommerce Site Administrator

Role and Responsibilities:

The e-Commerce Site Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of an online store. The Administrator's main role & responsibility is to constantly maintain and audit the site for optimal performance. The Administrator should primarily, but not solely, focus on maximizing the Webstore’s conversion rate and average order value. The role reports directly to the eCommerce Business Director/Manager. We are looking for someone with an office administration/customer service background and with strong marketing and analytical skills.

Ecommerce Marketing Manager

Overall Function

Reporting to the director of e-commerce and digital marketing, the marketing manager plans, executes, analyzes and optimizes marketing programs for the e-commerce channel. The manager is responsible for driving traffic to Peet’s website and call center as well as converting traffic through effective marketing messages and promotions. In addition to achieving specific e-commerce sales objectives, the marketing manager is also responsible for customer relationship management including email marketing for all channels. Separately, the manager serves as the coffee, tea and gifts category manager for the e-commerce channel.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Develop, execute and manage e-commerce marketing programs including promotions, creative, email, web, direct mail, and marketing collateral.
  • Provide analysis and insight to manage the success of marketing programs and improve efficiency. Work with digital marketing manager to execute and optimize e-commerce paid search, affiliates, social and display campaigns.
  • Serve as coffee, tea, merchandise and gifts category manager for e-commerce including assortment, pricing, promotions, forecasting, content development, reporting and analysis.
  • Work with internal marketing partners to integrate e-commerce across channels.
  • Serve as the lead for email marketing programs across all channels. Manage all aspects of e-commerce email marketing programs including life-cycling marketing, circulation, promotions, schedules, creative and copy development, execution and optimization. Work with channel partners to execute retail, grocery and food service email marketing programs.
  • Develop and manage retention program
  • Manage external consultants and agencies and internal creative services team to execute e-commerce marketing efforts.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 years marketing experience with at least 3 in the area of online marketing or e-commerce for a consumer goods or retail company.
  • Email marketing experience is required. Retention marketing experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record in creating and executing online marketing strategies to retain customers. Consistent history of business-building success. Must have direct experience developing marketing plans.
  • Must be results oriented – with a high degree of personal initiative and leadership – in a fast-paced, fluid and lower resourced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills required including demonstrated ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations. Proven ability to think both strategically and tactically.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail required. Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritize work and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Content development including creative and copy experience a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills with a proven track record of leadership across functional lines that delivers business results required.

Key responsibilities

The e-Commerce Data Administrator has responsibility for all the data management of a busy ecommerce department including product, price, customer and product availability. This is a key role that supports both the content and marketing functions.
